Privacy Statement
This statement explains what personal information ManaraAI collects through its website and platform, why, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are
ManaraAI ("we", "us") operates the website at manara-ai.co (the "Site") and the ManaraAI platform at app.manara-ai.co (the "Platform"). We decide how personal information collected through the Site is used. For information our customers put into the Platform, we act on their behalf and under their instructions; that customer is responsible for it.
2. What we collect on the Site
- Contact form: your name, work email, phone number if you give it, organisation, the reason you are getting in touch and your message.
- Trial setup: the frameworks you pick and your email. These choices are kept in your browser for the visit only (session storage). Your email is passed to the Platform in the link fragment, which browsers do not send to our servers.
- Usage analytics: a small number of anonymous events about how the trial setup is used, together with technical information such as browser type, device and approximate location derived from your IP address. We do not put your email or name into analytics.
- Technical logs: our hosting provider processes IP addresses and request details to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse.
3. What we collect in the Platform
- Account information: name, work email, role and organisation of each user.
- Billing information: plan, billing contact and invoices. Card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by us.
- Customer Data: the policies, risks, controls, evidence and other records your organisation stores, which may include personal information about your staff or third parties.
- Usage and security logs: sign-ins, actions taken and audit trail entries, used to secure the Platform and show your organisation who did what.
4. How we use it
- to answer enquiries, arrange demos and provide support;
- to create and run trials and accounts, and to bill for subscriptions;
- to provide, secure and improve the Services and understand how the Site is used;
- to send service notices and, where you have agreed, product updates you can opt out of at any time;
- to meet legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Customer Data to train AI models.
5. Legal basis
We process personal information where it is needed to perform a contract with you or take steps before one, where we have a legitimate interest that is not outweighed by your rights (such as securing the Services and understanding Site use), where the law requires it, or with your consent. We handle personal information in line with the Sultanate of Oman's Personal Data Protection Law (Royal Decree 6/2022) and other laws that apply to us.
7. International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside Oman, including in the United States. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards the law requires. Enterprise customers can choose private cloud or air-gapped deployments that keep Customer Data in their chosen environment.
9. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and account and billing records for as long as your subscription is active and afterwards as the law requires. Customer Data is kept for the length of your subscription and can be exported for 30 days after it ends, after which it is deleted.
10. Security
We protect personal information with access controls, encryption in transit and at rest, logging and the other measures described on our Security page. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where the law requires.
11. Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. Email contact@manara-ai.co and we will respond within the time the law allows. If your information is held in a customer's Platform workspace, we will pass your request to that customer. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
12. Children
The Services are for organisations and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
13. Changes to this statement
We may update this statement. We will post the new version here with a new "last updated" date and, for material changes, tell you by email or in the Platform.
